Reflexology has been practised for over 5000 years. A physiotherapist called Eunice Ingham developed the modern zone theory and her findings in the 1930’s. The treatment works on stimulating pressure points in the feet, which correspond with areas in the body. In reflexology the body is divided into ten longitudinal zones that run through the body from the head to the feet, thus the entire body is mapped out on the feet.

The reflexologist uses their fingers, hands and thumbs to massage and apply pressure to areas of the feet with the aim of releasing tension and promoting energy flow to the different systems of the body. I am also trained in Spinal Reflexology and Advanced Reflexology techniques so am able to provide a deeper treatment to those who need it.

Regular sessions can help aid relaxation, improve mood and generally boost overall wellbeing.
